Meet Maggie
Hi, I’m Maggie — the hands, heart, and creative mind behind The Stitch Studio!
I’m a former full-time nurse turned embroidery enthusiast, wife, mom, and proud Baldwin City local serving Kansas City and beyond. What started as a simple creative outlet during the pandemic quickly turned into something much more — a way to combine my love of crafting, creating, and connecting with people through personalized, meaningful designs.
A New Name
If you’ve been around a while, you might notice a new name — and that’s on purpose! Formally Stitched by Maggie, The Stitch Studio represents a new chapter: one where I’m leveling up, expanding my offerings, and continuing to pour my heart into every stitch (just with a little more space and structure this time!).
From Scrubs to Stitches
After years in nursing, I found myself craving a little creativity outside the hospital walls. As I transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom, I picked up embroidery as a creative outlet. I never could’ve imagined it would grow into what it is today! What started as a side hobby with a single machine at my kitchen table has become a thriving embroidery studio creating custom pieces for families, businesses, and gift-givers near and far.
When I’m not stitching, you’ll probably find me chasing my kiddos around the backyard, hanging with my husband, or brainstorming my next design idea.
What You’ll Find Here
At The Stitch Studio, every piece is made with attention to detail, love, and a whole lot of joy. Whether it’s a personalized baby gift, a monogrammed sweatshirt, or something one-of-a-kind just for you, my goal is to help you create pieces that feel special — because they are.
Thank You for Being Here
Whether you’re a longtime supporter or brand new to The Stitch Studio, I’m so glad you’re here. Every message, order, and kind word means more than I can say. I can’t wait to create something special for you — one stitch at a time.
